About

Alex Ammar is a second-generation American who feels a strong drive to repay the sacrifices his parents made for Alex and a brother. Watching them work hard for the family sparked an early fascination with finance. Alex named the firm Paradox because financial health is one of the most important things in life, yet financial education is almost entirely neglected.

After a bachelor's in finance from the University of Florida, Alex spent nearly a decade as a traditional advisor at Merrill. The assets-under-management model didn't allow the thorough, in-depth approach Alex wanted, which led to advice-only planning, where the goal is to educate and empower clients rather than gather assets.

A fiduciary and CFP® professional, Alex works with people who want to become financially independent and retire early within the next 10 years, looking at early retirement strategies, real estate, family obligations and more, and teaching as much as each client wants to learn.
