Rose Zealand

Rose Zealand is a CFP®, Certified Financial Transitionist® and Certified End-of-Life Doula who runs a conversation practice where money, mortality and meaning meet. She works mostly with midlife people touched by mortality, whether living with serious illness, caring for a loved one, grieving, rebuilding after a life-threatening diagnosis or curious about how mortality shapes the way they want to live.

Rose does not manage investments, sell products or build comprehensive long-term plans. Instead she offers what she calls scratch-paper planning: enough analysis to clarify what you have, what you need, your options and their tradeoffs as decisions arise. She also makes room for benefits, caregiving, estate documents and family conversations, and works alongside your other advisors and care team.

Her path includes more than a decade in financial services, a molecular biology degree, doula work at birth and end of life, caregiving for elders and settling an estate while grieving. Clients say she brings reverence, pragmatism, humor and steadiness.
